    Delaware Secretary of State and CT Corporation will be closed on Monday, January 16th, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.   

    Corporate

    1. We will NOT be able to obtain the file date of January 16th, 2023 unless prior arrangements have been made.  If your customer requires this file date, the following steps must be completed:
      1. CT Wilmington must have the document in hand on Friday, January 13th with instructions to obtain a filing date of January 16th, 2023.
      2. The State of Delaware will process the document the following business day (Tuesday, January 17th, 2023) and provide evidence prior to the close of business.
      3. The State of Delaware will charge the Global Filing Service ($2,500.00) expedite fee in addition to all customary disbursements for this transaction.
    2. January 16th, 2023 can be used as a future effective date.
    1. Filing evidence will not be received on January 16th.  
    2. Good Standings can be ordered through CTA as usual, but there will be no support available should something go wrong.
    3. Customers can continue to file Delaware annual reports through CTA.com, but there will be no support available should something go wrong. 
    4. Because we (CT Wilmington) are also closed, Cert Res, Certified Copies, and Plain Copies will be unavailable.  Additionally, we will NOT have the ability to reserve names, pay franchise tax, or obtain blank annual reports.

    UCC

    • UCC Filings CANNOT obtain the January 16th, 2023 file date UNLESS they are filed via XML.
    • Filing evidence will NOT be received on January 16th.
    • Because we (CT Wilmington) are also closed, UCC Searches, document retrievals, and corporate plain/certified copies will be unavailable.
    • XML and WEB filing will be available as usual, but there will be no support available should something go wrong.
    • Good Standings can be ordered through CTA as usual, but there will be no support available should something go wrong.

Service is at the heart of the DPA.  We strive to give back to our community as much as possible.  Some of the events we participate in are Wills for Heroes/Seniors, Mock Trial, and serving dinner at the Ronald McDonald house.  Please consider volunteering!
