The First Stop for Paralegals in the First State
The Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition is an annual, two day competition, hosting approximately 400 of Delaware's brightest high school students, held at the Leonard L. Williams Justice Center (New Castle County Courthouse). The students act out a court case and debate at the highest level in a live courtroom setting.
We need volunteers to be "runners" (no running involved - deliver scores from the deliberation room to event judges' room) and courtroom bailiffs (escort jury to/from the courtroom and announcing the presiding judge). Both positions are important, but fun and easy to do. Light breakfast and lunch are provided.
Members may sign up for all four (4) or individual sessions.
