The First Stop for Paralegals in the First State
The Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition is an annual, two day competition, hosting approximately 400 of Delaware's brightest high school students, and hosted by the Leonard L. Williams Justice Center. The students act out a court case and debate at the highest level in a live courtroom setting. We usually ask volunteers to run the scores to the judge's room or to act as bailiffs. However, this year we are continuing with….
VIRTUAL VOLUNTEERING!
Mock Trial is VIRTUAL and YOU can easily volunteer from the comfort of your home or workplace. We need volunteers to co-host the event by recording/viewing the proceedings and acting as a bailiff. (You always wanted to say “ALL RISE” right?) Once the mock trial is over, the recording is dropped into a virtual drop box. Volunteering is an easy way to earn DPA CLE credits (3 hours = 1 credit).
Mandatory day-of ZOOM training will be provided by the Mock Trial Committee.
Volunteers may sign up for individual or all four (4) sessions:
