The Delaware Paralegal Association (DPA) is a comprehensive resource to paralegals in the state of Delaware. Providing a complete network of employment, educational, and pro bono opportunities to its over 200 members, DPA is committed to promoting and maintaining high standards within the legal community of the first state.

 A paralegal is a person qualified by education or work experience who is authorized to perform tasks requiring substantive legal knowledge that would otherwise by law, rule or ethics be performed exclusively by an attorney.

 We invite you to explore the resources and opportunities offered to paralegals by the Delaware Paralegal Association.

To promote and maintain high standards and ethics in the profession, to provide a forum for the exchange of information about the profession, to enhance the role of paralegals in the legal community and to encourage the continuing legal education of paralegals.
