The Delaware Paralegal Association (DPA) is a comprehensive resource to paralegals in the state of Delaware. Providing a complete network of employment, educational, and pro bono opportunities to its over 300 members, DPA is committed to promoting and maintaining high standards within the legal community of the first state.
A paralegal is a person qualified by education or work experience who is authorized to perform tasks requiring substantive legal knowledge that would otherwise by law, rule or ethics be performed exclusively by an attorney.
We invite you to explore the resources and opportunities offered to paralegals by the Delaware Paralegal Association.
To promote and maintain high standards and ethics in the profession, to provide a forum for the exchange of information about the profession, to enhance the role of paralegals in the legal community and to encourage the continuing legal education of paralegals.
You can give a child who is going through a dark time, a brighter birthday this year. Through our own member, Meredith Hurst's initiative and a sponsorship through the Delaware Paralegal Association, the Birthday Wishes program benefits children in transition, living in a local protection-from-abuse shelters run by Mary Mother of Hope House and Ministry of Caring in Wilmington, DE. Birthday Wishes provides a monthly birthday celebration for these kids and your support will make their birthday celebration extra-special.
