Wills for Seniors is a coordinated effort of the Delaware State Bar Association's Wills for Seniors program, designed to provide free legal estate planning services to eligible senior citizens in Delaware. The senior citizens will meet with volunteer attorneys who will draft a basic will, advanced medical directive, and power of attorney. These documents will be prepared onsite and executed the same day so that they will be finalized and effective immediately.
DPA volunteers are needed for notarizing, witnessing, and if necessary, drafting assistance. Breakfast & lunch are provided.
The event runs from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Volunteer shifts are from 9:00am - 1:00pm and from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Stay for one, or both sessions!
Remember, for every 3 hours of legal-based pro bono work, you receive 1 DPA CLE credit towards renewing your DCP certification
